• Sanitizer / Ozone Button
  This button allows you to select the setting you want (off, on, low, medium or high) by simply pressing the button until the LED Light next to the desired setting is lit. The XJ-3000C is OFF when there are no LED Lights next to Sanitizer Button, its ozone vacuum tubes will stop producing ozone, and it will not release any ozone into the air.
  XJ-3000C runs in intervals of 23 seconds On and 5 minutes and 37 seconds Off on a low setting. On a medium, it runs in intervals of 2 minutes On and 4 minutes Off. It will run continuously if you will select the high setting.
• Ion / Power Button
  This button turns the Multi-Tech HEPA & Ionic Air Purifier ON. When the unit is functioning, Air Ionizer (i.e. negative ion generator) is automatically engaged.

• Placement
  It is not necessary to place the unit in a high elevation since Multi-Tech HEPA and Ionic Air Purifier uses a fan that blows air strongly out of the top of the unit. • Timer
  XJ- 3000C has a timer that can be set to 1, 2, or 4 hours. If none of these are selected its Ionic Air Purifier will continuously run which best advisable. You may use the timer to prevent the ozone level from reaching excessively high levels when you are not home and you switch the ozone on a high setting in a small area.
• Replacing the Filter Cartridge
  Changing the HEPA/Activated Carbon Air Filter Cartridge once every one to two years is the only maintenance required for the Multi-Tech Ionic Air Filter. Read below to learn how to replace the filter of the Multi-Tech quickly and easily.
  • 1st Step
    Turn the unit “off” and open the front cover. Go on to the next step if the white (HEPA) side of the Filter Cartridge is dark grey in color. In order to prolong the life of the Filter Cartridge carefully cleaned with hand-held vacuum or other method of removing dirt the blue side of the filter (Pre-Filter) if it is dirty.
  • 2nd Step
    Remove the cover from the new room Air Filter Cartridge, then take the old filter and throw it away. Next, place the new filter in its proper position. Put the front cover back on and begin operating again.
